The chief instructor and main man at Cobra is Muhammed Zahir, formerly known as 'Leko Wright', a long-time Muay Thai practitioner who has trained for 0ver 22 years as well as competing in several bouts along his journey. Muhammed honed his craft in the UK and eventually travelled to Thailand, gaining priceless experience training in the home of Muay Thai itself under the expert guidance of professional instructors. Through his talent and dedication to the fighting art, Muhammed fought domestically and internationally, winning multiple titles.

Following a decorated fighting career, Leko can now be found instilling the knowledge and discipline that supplemented his own success into the up and coming fighters at Cobra Muay Thai. Under his expert tutelage, both beginners and seasoned fighters alike are pushed to become the greatest version of themselves. His passion for the art of Muay Thai combined with his gift for teaching make him the ideal man to train under, regardless of your age or experience.

Cobra Muay Thai offers top level training from experts, and who better to train and guide you than the current #4 ranked fighter in the UK Muay Thai middleweight division? Tayo Zahir, son of chief instructor Muhammed Zahir, is the reigning ISKA Intercontinental Champion (75KG), WBC English Champion as well as the Elite Fighting European Middleweight Champion and has been aptly labelled 'The Beast From The Heath' due to his fighting prowess. Whilst his focus, technical ability, fight IQ and power are clinical weapons to his opponents, they also function as core components of his teaching when it comes to his students.

Tayo began his journey in Muay Thai at the tender age of 4 years old and has dedicated 18 years to the the sport under the instruction of his father Muhammed and alongside various high level coaches. Tayo trains and mentors fellow fighters of all levels to ensure they are given a rock solid foundation upon which to excel. Capable of leading classes of beginners or training seasoned fighters in a 1-to-1 capacity, Tayo is a shining example of commitment and dedication to the craft.
